It solves the bottleneck problem of public security management, and enhances government departments’ administrative management, emergency response, comprehensive management of public security, and maintenance of social stability. According to the first-phase construction plan, before September 1 this year, 4,900 high-definition cameras will be built on the motor vehicle lanes, sidewalks, and key units within the Zhonghuan Road in the main downtown of Taiyuan City. After the system is completed, relevant government functional departments can implement remote video surveillance, video playback, downloading, and video alarm receiving functions according to the needs of the work and through authorized network access to fully improve the level of social management in Taiyuan.
