The three methods for identifying the red rosewood material can be summarized as "three look":

Look at the new one. With a knife, I scraped a few times on the side of a red rosewood door, but saw the sawdust falling, revealing a new red dragonfly inside. If the inside is white, it means the material is dyed. This method works as long as it is not painted furniture. (But generally won't give you a shave!)

Second look at the texture. Generally speaking, the color of the deep red rosewood is dense, the annual rings are tight, and the texture is clear and straight. The light red rosewood has a relatively low density, the annual rings are loose, some are dark, and the surface looks like a layer of fog.

Three look at the black ribs. The dark red rosewood has many black bands and is obvious, and its jujube red is black and red. The light-colored red rosewood has fewer black tendons, even if it is not as obvious as the former.
