What should I do if the three-phase asynchronous motor brush lead (also known as brush identification) breaks? Many friends do not know how to deal with this problem. Today, Dalan Motor editors share with everyone how to repair the broken lead.
1. Soldering method. When the lead is broken but there is still a part left on the motor brush, a soft copper wire with the same specifications as the original lead can be welded to the remaining part.
2. Riveting or screw connection. Drill holes in the upper end of the brush, and connect the lead to the brush with rivets or screws.
3. Filling and crimping method with copper powder plug. This method is a formal production method used by brush manufacturers, which requires a special tool-hollow punch. The tool is made of steel material, with a hole in the center of the lower half and through the side. After processing, heat treatment is performed to strengthen the hardness.
(1) Open the original lead hole of the brush with an electric drill.
(2) Take a piece of lead, pass through the center hole of the punch, separate its lower end and insert it into the brush mounting hole.
(3) Put fine copper powder into the brush hole.
(4) Insert the lower end of the punch into the hole of the brush, tap the top of the punch with a small hammer, knock once, lift the punch upward, then tap again until the copper powder filled is compacted before filling Add a little copper powder, then use a punch to compact, repeat the above process until the brush cavity is filled.
(5) Take down the punch. Apply some epoxy resin to the root of the brush lead to fix the copper powder and prevent the copper powder from oxidizing.
