This year, domestic coal production and prices are both in decline, but Xinjiang's coal industry has maintained a good development. It is expected that Xinjiang's coal production will reach 160 million tons, and the coal industry will increase by 13.7% year-on-year.

It is reported that from January to May of this year, Xinjiang's raw coal output was 51.9356 million tons, an increase of 3.3949 million tons over the same period of last year, with a growth rate of 6.2%. In the context of declining economic growth and rising prices, Xinjiang’s industrial production is also growing at the same time. From January to May, industrial enterprises above designated size increased by nearly 11 points compared with the same period last year, and 1.5% higher than the domestic level. The coal industry still tops the list in China.

By the end of May, Xinjiang's coal sales exceeded 575.76 million tons, an increase of 10.3% over the previous year, and direct sales of coal mining enterprises amounted to 22,961,100 tons. Compared with last year, the growth rate was 25.5%, and the sales volume of state-owned local coal mines exceeded 536 Ten thousand tons, an increase of 29.6% compared with last year, the township coal mine sales reached 27,435,800 tons, a decrease of 2.4% compared with last year.

It is worth noting that the investment in the coal industry in the region totaled 4.349 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of nearly 2 percentage points. The coal industry project has been developing smoothly. The coal consumption of industrial enterprises above designated size has exceeded 43.77 million tons, an increase of 19.7% over the previous year. After investigating key coal mining companies and coal mining companies, the specific conditions of coal use in the major industries in the region were analyzed. This year, the total demand for new coal in our region exceeded 35 million tons. The major demand industries are in the fields of chemical industry, electric power, building materials, and metallurgy. There are few export sales, and the demand for new coal for coal consumption in the region has exceeded 30 million tons, while the sales outside the region are around 5 million tons.

What is amazing is that in recent years, Xinjiang's coal growth rate is the same as that of the national economy. The coal industry in the region is still developing well. Combined with the annual coal demand analysis, coal production in the second half will exceed 160 million tons. The annual coal production maintained a growth rate of around 20%, and it is estimated that the total coal demand this year will exceed 180 million tons.
