During the trip, three foreign men who claimed to be policemen were ordered to stop to check their passports and asked to hand over their wallets. They did not want the three people to immediately take out their murder weapons and force them to unpack the boxes for inspection, and ransacked their passports and belongings. Due to the language barrier and the passport being robbed, 40 Chinese tourists had to go to the embassy to ask for help and applied for a "Travel Permit of the People's Republic of China" to return home.
