Advantages: 220V AC has low voltage loss and strong anti-interference ability during transmission.
 
Disadvantages: Each point must be installed with a power supply, which is more troublesome to construct.
 



Third, PoE power supply
 
PoE power supply refers to the technology of providing DC power to other devices without any modification of the existing Ethernet Cat.5 cabling infrastructure. This method is mainly applied to high-definition network digital monitoring systems.


Advantages: Reduce cost, flexible deployment, convenient and fast, beautiful and beautiful, single port maximum power up to 30W.
 
Disadvantages: The quality of the network cable is high, the transmission distance is limited, and the power of the powered device cannot exceed 30W.
 
Precautions
 
1. When using an infrared camera, centralized power supply is not recommended. Because the current is large when the infrared is turned on, it is difficult to ensure the infrared effect of all the cameras by the centralized power supply mode.
 
2, point-to-point power supply, near power, can save the use of the line, is a big savings, but after-sales maintenance, extreme maintenance is difficult; this is affirmative, centralized power supply has a benefit, future maintenance is easy, not easy to go wrong, But if you don't worry about the wire, if you just pat the butt and leave, you can use the point-to-point power supply. It is good for the long-term use of centralized power supply.
 
3, if the socket is more, use the separate to draw power, if not much then use the centralized, if it is indoors, you can use a good sheathed power cord.
 
4, when the number of cameras is relatively large, the distance of the power supply does not exceed 100 meters, it is recommended to use PoE power supply, no special construction, convenient and fast, but pay attention to the choice of PoE power supply equipment.
