Progress in the Controllable Preparation of Ruthenium-based Photocatalytic Materials at the Physical and Chemical Sites in Xinjiang

At present, the key to restricting the development of photocatalysis is still the development of efficient and stable photocatalytic materials. In recent years, the phthalate photocatalysts are mainly prepared by the traditional high-temperature solid-phase method. The high-temperature sintering used in this method will result in a larger size and a smaller specific surface area of ​​the synthesized cerium silicate particles, thereby making the photocatalytic activity relatively low. low. Because Ta2O5 is extremely difficult to dissolve and it is difficult to achieve liquid phase synthesis, little research has been reported on the morphology control of the lanthanide photocatalytic materials. Therefore, the controllable preparation of lanthanide photocatalytic materials is a difficult point in the current research. In view of the problems existing in the preparation of citrate photocatalysts, researchers from the Research Institute of Environmental Science and Technology of the Xinjiang Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences conducted a new method for the preparation of phthalates using molten salt-hydrothermal synthesis. Researchers use molten salt method to prepare a soluble citrate precursor, which can realize the regulation of different exposed crystal faces of nanotantalate by simply adjusting the amount of alkali in the hydrothermal process, and prepare the exposed surface as {111 The nanometer octahedron of the crystal face and the nanoplate of {101} crystal face exposed for the first time realize the regulation of the main exposed crystal face of the cerium-based photocatalytic material for the first time. The photocatalytic performance test results show that the photocatalytic performance of nano-octahedron is four times that of nano-sheets, indicating that the regulation of photocatalytic performance is achieved through the regulation of exposed crystal faces. This study provides a new method and reference for the controlled preparation of phthalates and the screening of high-efficiency photocatalytic materials.
