U.S., Europe and Japan invite China’s rare earth and other export restrictions to invite the WTO to set up an expert group

The United States, the European Union and Japan submitted an expert group to the World Trade Organization Dispute Settlement Body on the 27th to investigate the export restrictions on raw materials such as rare earths in China. The US, Europe and Japan resorted to the WTO Dispute Settlement Body on March 13th, stating that China’s export restrictions on rare earths , tungsten and molybdenum violate WTO rules and China’s accession to the WTO protocol, including export quotas, export licenses and exports.
