Copper and steel clad material has the below advantages: Good connection of copper and steel, higher wear resisstant, lower friction, good self-lubricating, lower cost.
Mainly used in the Transmission parts of metallurgical equipment, continuous casting equipement, rolling equipment and machinery etc.
With the anti-corrosion, anti-friction, good electricity and heat conduction performance, good outlooking and lower cost, the copper and steel material are used in metallurgical equipment, continuous casting equipement, rolling equipment, machinery, tooling, electronic, mint, cooker and construction etc.
1. In the civil area, the straightness, gloss and machining of the copper-steel clad plate is better than stainless steel. It is the best material for elevator, construction decoration, food and medical equipment manufacutring. With the good heat conduction performance, it can replace the stainless steel. The heat transfer coefficient is 3 times as stainless steel(50 for clad stainless steel and 16 for stainless steel). It is the best material for heater and heat sink manufacturing of solar water heater, cooking pot, electric cooker etc. The anti-corrision lifetime is more than 60 years; With the high stength, low cost and good welding performance, it can replace the copper plate and apply in construction decoration production, like window, door, frame, board, handrill and funiture etc.
2. In electircity and electronic area, copper and steel clad material has replaced the tranditional copper and copper alloy electronic components production like subway reaction panel, its good electricity conduction and anti-corrosion enhanced the strength, decreased the thickness and lowered the cost;
3. In the metallurgical industry, this material can be used as electrode for electroplating technique, electrode for electric discharge, ground rod, overarm conduct, terminal clamp, terminal clamp and release devices etc. Copper and steel clad plate can be used as double water cooled housing and double mould for electrical metallurgical oven and melting oven;
4. In the military area, used as launcher which has solved the water leaking and joint corrosion problem, not only simplified the process but also reduced the cost. Using copper-steel-copper clad material as cannonball to replace brass metal cartridge case, it is not only economical but also with good ballistic performance;
5. In the automobile manufacturing, copper and steel clad material can be used as heat exchanger, synchronizer conering, worm wheel ofgear box, bearing etc. Copper-steel and aluminium-steel clad material can be used for bi-metal bearing, bushing and liner tube etc.
6. In the metallurgical area, the copper-steel clad plate can be used as sliding plate and liner plate etc;
7. In other area, copper-stainless steel or copper-nickel alloy and low carbon steel clad plate can be used for waste vessel. Copper-steel cald plate can be used in the cavity of the linear accelerator for High Energy Physics.
