However, the amount of equipment invested is large, and a certain scale of operation must be formed. The on-site composite board is processed into a single board at the factory, and the sandwich core is composited on site.

According to different plate types, the roof sometimes includes internal rafters, and the cores are combined into a roof structure. The wall composite panels use the wall beams as the inner rafts, and the cores are combined into a wall envelope structure. The on-site composite construction period is long, but the equipment investment is small, suitable for small and medium-sized business scales. It is currently the most suitable color plate installation type. The sandwich material of the composite board currently mainly includes polyphenylene, polyurethane foam, rock wool and glass wool. The design should be based on the project scale, construction cycle requirements, comprehensive technical level and regional industrial development status as appropriate.
