Petronas Malaysia plans to provide more attractive incentives for its partners and suppliers to effectively stimulate oil and gas production. After the government passes, Petronas will announce these incentives at the appropriate time.

Prime Minister Idris said that oil and natural gas is one of the key economic sectors in the country (NKEA). The government hopes that the country will become the core of the oil and gas industry in the region.
