Dr. Zhu Feng, Chairman of the Superhard Materials Branch, said in his speech: After nearly 50 years of unremitting efforts, China's superhard materials industry has gone from a series of industrial groups of superhard materials and products, raw and auxiliary materials and special equipment to relatively complete production and research. The innovation system has developed into a distinctive industry with a significant impact on the world's superhard materials industry. It can be said that China's super-hard materials industry has changed the world's super-hard materials industry and become one of the leading forces in the world's super-hard materials industry. Mr. Winkel, President of the American Industrial Diamond Association, expressed his gratitude to the organizers for their exchange and cooperation opportunities in the Sino-US superhard materials industry. He said that the American Industrial Diamond Association was founded in 1946 and has a glorious and long history in the development of superhard materials in the world. Members of the American Industrial Diamond Association look forward to using their long-term experience to make greater progress in the Chinese market of super-hard materials companies. At the same time, the United States is willing to cooperate with its Chinese counterparts to write a new chapter in the development of the super-hard materials industry. At the opening ceremony, Mr. Walter, executive director of Element Six, made a report. This report also became the first lecture of the Superhard Materials Technology Development Forum, which officially kicked off the superhard materials technology forum. 
Foreign guests and leaders of China Machine Tool Industry Association and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan industry colleagues took a group photo. It is understood that domestic and foreign guests will elaborate and exchange ideas on the theme of “energy saving, environmental protection, precision and efficiency, low carbon development†in this forum. Research and promote the harmonious and healthy development of the superhard materials industry. After the opening ceremony, Secretary-General Li Zhihong invited Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan colleagues and all foreign guests and the relevant leaders of the China Machine Tool Industry Association as the host to take a group photo.
