ELET tipping head classification and characteristics

Type I (tip fine)

Features: Tip tip is small.

Scope of application: suitable for fine welding, or when the welding space is small, it can also correct the tin bridge generated when soldering the chip.



Type B / LB type (conical)

Features: B-type soldering iron tip has no directionality, and the entire tip of the soldering iron can be welded. The LB type is a type B and has a long shape. It can be flexibly operated in a welding environment with high body components or narrow welding space around the solder joint.

Applications: Suitable for general soldering, regardless of the size of the solder joints, you can also use a B-type soldering iron.



D type / LD type (one word batch shape)

Features: Welding with a batch of nozzles.

Scope of application: Suitable for welding requiring multi-tin quantity, such as welding environment with large welding area, thick terminal and large welding pad.



Type C / CF type (beveled cylindrical)

Features: Welding with the beveled part of the tip of the tip, suitable for welding with a large amount of tin. The CF type soldering iron tip has a tinned layer only on the inclined surface. Only the beveled portion can be soldered when soldering. Therefore, the amount of soldering will be different from that of the C-type soldering iron tip, depending on the needs of soldering.

Application range: Suitable for welding requiring multi-tin quantity, such as welding environment with large welding area, thick terminal and large welding pad;

0.5C, 1C/CF, 1.5CF and other soldering iron tips are very fine, suitable for soldering small components, or tin bridges and tin columns generated when surface soldering is corrected. If only a small amount of solder is required for soldering, it is more suitable to use a CF type soldering iron head which is tinned only on the inclined surface;

2C/2CF, 3C/3CF type soldering iron tip, suitable for welding resistors, diodes and other components, SOP and QFP with large pitch;

4C/4CF, suitable for thick terminals, grounding on the board.



K type (knife shape)

Features: It can be welded by knife, vertical or pull-welded, and it is a multi-purpose tip.

Applications: Suitable for SOJ, PLCC, SOP, QFP, power supply, grounding components, solder bridges, connectors, etc.



H type

Features: Tin plating on the bottom of the tip.

Scope of application: Suitable for SOP, QFP with large welding pitch.
