High precision in production means higher processing efficiency and higher process safety. At the EMO exhibition in Milan, HEIDENHAIN will interpret its meaning in a variety of ways: live demonstration of the stunning high-precision position measurement technology of linear encoders and angle encoders in the latest version of the TNC 640 CNC system and closed-loop control system.
The HEIDENHAIN booth will demonstrate the TNC 640 CNC system on-site, demonstrating a number of features that increase efficiency and precision. In particular, optimized motion control reduces machining time and achieves perfect surface quality and extreme precision. Dynamic high-precision at HEIDENHAIN brings together several functions that increase the accuracy of workpiece machining: Dynamic Damping (AVD) allows you to mill quickly and without vibration. Dynamic and efficient series functions for heavy-duty machining efficiently: Effective Vibratory Control (ACC) reduces machine vibration, cycloidal milling and adaptive feed control (AFC) to quickly remove material.
The TNC 640's high-resolution 3-D simulation graphics realistically simulate machining programs written on the machine or programs generated offline. A processing preview with extensive information allows you to assess in advance whether the program data is complete, the process is intact and the surface quality is good. 3-D simulation graphics allow machine operators to discover errors in NC programs and optimize them before machining begins.
The main highlights of the other two live demonstrations at the HEIDENHAIN booth are the high-precision position measurement system for linear encoders and angle encoders in closed-loop control systems. It ensures stable workpiece accuracy and compensates for temperature variations in the drive train to ensure tight tolerances.
