How to choose air compressor pressure sensor

First, Fusheng air compressor pressure sensor , transmitter is generally measuring the pressure of fluid (such as: liquid, gas, melt). The units of pressure are commonly used: Pa, KPa, MPa, bar, Kg/cm2, and the like. Each pressure sensor and transmitter has a certain pressure measurement range, and the maximum pressure value that can be measured is called: range.
  
Second, the output signal of the Lingge air compressor pressure sensor is generally a voltage signal in mV (millivolts). The magnitude of the signal output is directly related to the magnitude of the voltage supplied to the pressure sensor. Most sensors have an output of 1--2mV/V. That is, when the pressure of the measured medium reaches the maximum nominal pressure of the sensor, if the power supplied to the sensor is 1V, the output signal is 1--2 mV. Similarly, if the power supplied to the sensor is 10V, the output signal is 10--20mV.
  
Third, the output signals of Atlas air compressor pressure transmitter are commonly used: 4---20mA, 0---20mA, 0---5V, 1---5V, 0.5---4.5V , 0---10V, RS485, RS232, etc. The signals are standard and the output is only proportional to the pressure of the medium being measured. The output does not change with the power supply within the rated voltage range. Commonly used inverters, PLCs, control display instruments, etc., their signal receiving modules can receive these standard signals.
  
Fourth, in order to feel the pressure of the measured medium, the pressure sensor and the transmitter have threads or flanges for connecting with the pipe or the container.
  
Fifth, the range, signal, connection thread, is the three major elements that must be clarified before purchasing pressure sensors and transmitters. After a sensor is done, these three elements can no longer be changed.
  
Sixth, how to determine the range: the nameplate of the air compressor is marked with the maximum pressure generated by the machine, generally not more than 1MPa (10 kg pressure), with the BY501 series. In the case of a hydraulic press, the pressure is determined by the hydraulic pump, and the pressure generated by the different hydraulic pumps is different. The pressure generated by the vane pump is more than ten MPa, and the pressure generated by the plunger pump is also about 40 MPa. The BY502 series is suitable.
