There are two ways to deal with mathematics, as follows:

1. Determine the appropriate 360° aliquot according to the radius of the cylindrical surface.

As can be seen from Fig. 2, this is equivalent to: first setting the angle → calculating the arc length (ie, the length of the AC line segment #5 in the figure) → re-introducing the "hole spacing" #4 in the X direction.

Obviously, in the program, the angle A can be divisible by 360°. The expression of the angle A is neat and clear, and the distribution of the hole spacing on the circumference is better, but the series of parameters derived from it such as #5, #4, etc. are inevitably not. Will be an integer.

In addition, whether the scores such as angles can be divided by 360° is largely limited by the radius of the cylindrical surface. The calculation and “adjustment of parameters” will mainly focus on the early stage, and sometimes it is more troublesome.

2. Deriving the appropriate 360° aliquot according to the hole spacing in the X direction

As can be seen from Fig. 2, this is equivalent to: first determining the hole spacing #4 in the X direction → calculating the arc length (i.e., the length of the AC line segment #5 in the figure) → re-introducing the angle.

Generally speaking, in the conventional engineering drawing expression, the hole spacing of the form #4 is marked. Similarly, the parameter #5 derived therefrom is not necessarily an integer, and the #5 is used to calculate the The angle should be equal to the number of points, whether it can be divided by 360°, etc. It is also limited to the radius of the cylindrical surface, and it is possible that the connection error is large, which leads to the imperfect connection on the circumference.

In fact, regardless of the above 1 or 2, it is based on the exact same mathematical relationship, but the starting point, path and end point of the known and solved are different. In this case, the author adopts a more general second approach.

During the whole process, the Y coordinate remains unchanged at Y0, that is, the cylinder axis is used as the Y0 position of G54, and the table does not need to move in the Y direction at all; the A axis rotates at an angle (stops), then in X The different positions of the direction are drilled in sequence; until all the angles are completed; and the Z direction is the surface of the cylindrical surface as the Z0 plane of G54.

In addition, for the effective processing length range in the X direction, a more tolerant judgment and limitation is adopted. For details, refer to the following procedure.

Note:

(1) The reason why the procedure is for the inner diameter of the cylinder is because the positional relationship and interference between the hole and the hole on the circumference mainly depend on the inner wall of the cylinder, especially when the wall thickness of the cylinder is large. Prominence, interference or not actually depends entirely on the bottom of the hole (ie the inner wall of the cylinder).
